Immediate vacancy for an Experienced Interior Draughtsman / Architect with good attention to detail, accurate and having a passionate drive to meet strict deadlines; to join a tight-knit and highly esteemed Fit-Out Contracting Company based in Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai.
Should have extensive knowledge in joinery, drywall detailing and interior spot detailing.
Upon request, applicant should be able to single-handedly produce a full set of shop drawings inclusive of all plans, elevations, and detailed drawings fit for client/consultant submission.
Architectural/Joinery/Fitout and interior designing for 2D Plans and 3D renders.
Shop drawing detailed shop drawing for mainly joinery & interior fit out.
Producing large scale documentation packages. Producing fully coordinated and accurate sets of drawings
Prepare free hand section details for site people.
Prepare and draw shop drawings as per site conditions and as design drawings.
Prepare complete submission set of shop drawings for Joinery Items/Plans/Layouts/RCP's/detailed drawings for submittal to consultants/clients for approval.
Must be certified by Dubai Municipality.
Education and Experience requirements
Diploma in Design/Architecture/Civil is preferred
Absolute Minimum of 8 years experience. (applicants with less than 8 years relevant experience will not be considered).
The applicant will be responsible for managing the design functions on Fit out projects as assigned including liaising with the clients and other departments.
1. Knowledge in Interior Designing/Joinery/ Fit Out Industry.
2. Self reliance & ability in AutoCAD, Photoshop, 3DMax and Microsoft office.
3. Design knowledge for Safety & Aesthetics, follow UAE Authority Guidelines.
4. General Knowledge of the interior fit out/joinery industry.
5. Knowledge in Fit out detailing, Specifications, Suppliers & Materials is a must
6. Excellent English language skills - Verbal, written and spoken
