The Senior Manager Protocol Heliport Operations will be responsible to develop and service strategies and operations to support our VVIP and Protocol Guest arrival & departure requirements at the expo 2020 heliport site prior to and during the Expo 2020 Dubai.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
- The role of the Senior Manager Protocol Heliport Operations is to coordinate with internal expo departments, our third-party facility service provider (venue operator), and our external UAE protocol entities to assist the Head of Protocol Operations to implement the protocol operations and management of the expo heliport venue, ensuring a world-class Protocol Guest experience for the stakeholder during Expo 2020 event time;
- This role will also assist with integration of Protocol activities within all the expo zones to ensure Expo 2020 provides the highest international protocol standards;
- As directed by the Head Protocol Operations, ensure Protocol engagement to different internal & external stakeholders, and ensure a world- class heliport operations and delivery;
- Organization and coordination of protocol operations across all of the heliport zone within the expo2020 site;
- Coordination advisory services for Expo 2020 stakeholders in respect of external protocol agencies and protocol related matters;
- Develop appropriate policies and procedures in respect of site movement and accreditation of members of the VVIP Protocol Guest Group;
- Lead protocol zone team responsibly and proficiently, providing effective line management to direct reports;
- Set objectives and evaluate performance of individual direct reports and actively manage key personnel issues;
- Ensure that all staff acquire the required skills and knowledge through appropriate learning and development programs.
