The Manager will oversee the operations of a state of the art recording studio that is currently being built at the Expo site, as well as supporting in the operational setup.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Plan the studio event-time operations, manage event time operations of Studio and liaise with stakeholders to facilitate usage of the studio for training/rehearsals and recording;
- Develop and manage budget requirements of the studio from an ongoing operational perspective and development of marketing material and liaising with Expo’s marketing department (including social media);
- Work with internal operational teams at Expo to ensure smooth integration of the Studio’s operations with site-wide operating plans;
- Plan the visitor experience for the studio during event time and integrate visitor experience for the studio during event time (target group, guests expected, entry restrictions, external façade plan etc…);
- Manage allocation of appropriate spaces to relevant groups looking for performance spaces and manage the Studio schedule and bookings during the event;
- Technical management and ownership of all equipment and music instruments within studio and its maintenance through managing service providers contracts;
- Overseeing day to day technician services and upkeep of equipment;
- Purchase and manage supplies (e.g. replenishables), etc., according to budget and approved procedures, manage all facility management services, maintain documents according to legal requirements.
