We are currently seeking a qualified, knowledgeable male IT Professional to help our company develop, use, and integrate IT systems. He will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical problems and providing training to users to maximize the productivity value of technology in business.
The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to the following:
- Maintenance of all IT equipments, systems, tools & work station in Afrina Group.
- Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)
- Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality
- Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
- Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems, company softwares & electronic data bases.
- Provide orientation, training and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
- Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance of systems.
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging, wiring, cabling etc.)
- Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
- Identify computer or network equipment shortages, getting quotes and place orders.
- System administration, company software knowledge & training for new joinees with full procedures.
- Data entry, bulk base imports & exports in system.
- Responsible for any other related tasks as assigned/required by higher management.
Health and safety Job description:
- Ensure compliance with the company Health & Safety standards at all times.
- Work safely at all times and to report all hazards and incidents to Operation Supervisor/Management.
- Apply a personal duty of care for your self/staff/customer own health and safety.
- Lead by example and consider environment by saving of electricity, water and other natural resources.
