- Promote safety by taking an active role prioritizing safety for yourself and others to ensure all assigned plants have zero accidents and are in total compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Plan the daily operation scheduling of plant production to ensure optimal utilization of plant equipment, personnel, and inventory requirements.
- Ensure optimal utilization of work procedures in regard to stripping, mining, processing, stockpiling, loading, and shipping.
- Maintain responsibility for all aspects of site planning and pit development.
- Provide strong leadership, training, team building, and supervision to all employees at the plant in order to support the operational function of the business.
- Batch all concrete orders for the day and ensure deliveries are made promptly, safely and efficiently.
- Ensure that all concrete produced meet or exceed customers' expectations regarding quality and service.
- Keep track of material inventories and help coordinate the delivery of material.
- Records quantity of sand, cement, gravel, and water required for each mix on loading ticket for use by Concrete Batch Plant Operator.
- Prepares invoices, delivery tickets, and related shipping documents and assigns drivers for scheduled deliveries.
- Confers with plant production and yard personnel to establish delivery schedules according to factors such as truck capacities, distances to delivery site, and unloading time.
