• Understanding of structural, mechanical, and electrical systems of cranes or other
industrial equipment
• Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits and motors
• Diagnose, repair or replace mechanical components
• Ability to work at elevated heights and comfortable with safety equipment
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and sit or stand for long periods of time
• Service oriented, well organized and friendly

• VFD knowledge
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Examines parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges.
• Reads and understands operating manuals, parts manuals, and technical drawings
• Prepares for jobs by checking parts and drawings for accuracy and completeness
• Capable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervision
• Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations
