LMS Administrator - First National Operation & Maintenance Co

This is a 12-month fixed term contract (secondment) with travel in Middle East and Africa.


 


The Digital Learning Specialist has the overall responsibility for the operational aspects and data input into the LMS and to ensure database integrity, accuracy, and user access and output of required data. Works to ensure proper configuration, design and usage of LMS to serve as a point of contact for administration and adoption of LMS processes. As the LMS administrator the roles partners with subject matter experts to create and configure, design, and deliver online learning content and serves as a technical liaison with employees and third-party vendors of online learning modules.


 


LEARNING SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES:



  • Apply Learning Management System (LMS) power-user knowledge and skills to develop and manage work flow processes and publish contents.

  • Maintain LMS functions for course offerings, registrations, wait-listing, and report generations.

  • Master the LMS platform functionality, provide support on utilization the platform possibilities, and determine solutions where necessary.

  • Train LMS Superusers and country LMS Leads on understanding and using the platform to its full potential and scope of possibilities.

  • Automate processes to scale with evolving stakeholder needs.

  • Establish and document streamlined processes to drive improvement.

  • Perform troubleshooting of production issues, updates for cases and tickets requiring changes and enhancements to existing functions.

  • Design qualifications such as the Technical Qualification Pathways and other functional qualifications

  • Support remote learning technologies (e.g. video and web conferencing), and other learning modalities (e.g. webinars, eLearning, blended solutions)

  • Maintain Learning System Administrator guide and create internal training tools to ensure consistent application of standards podcasting, video filming and editing, microlearning

  • Work with subject matter experts to design appropriate and engaging e-learning solutions including creative and interactive elements, navigation, testing, and tracking learning

  • Design and creation of assessment and assessment strategies to measure effectiveness

  • Design eLearning material: videos, courses, and webinars

  • Supporting all e-learning and educational requirements

  • Generate reports and designs special reports as requested

  • Automate manual systems and forms in the talent department

  • Develop and maintain LMS pages supporting talent requirements

  • Provide consultation to departments seeking migration of training material to e-learning

  • Provide solutions for online registration for different requirements

  • Provide services and develop systems for online exams

  • Engage with ERP and IT department for integrating LMS to any system

  • Provide NOMAC with the latest courseware and e-learning technologies

  • Understand and create the LMS technology landscape across all countries and divisions and make recommendations to simplify and standardize, where possible

  • Partner with HR Managers and country LMS Leads to recommend learning content solutions that improves efficiency and the user experience

  • Establish an approach to monitor the efficacy and quality of Peer-to-Peer content in WDL

  • Partner with HRMs and Corporate Talent to configure key reporting and measurement solutions for our business and HR community; manage LMS analytics, usage metrics, etc.

  • Lead a Forum that fosters ongoing learning & sharing across the superuser community

  • Respond to end-user and provide technical support in a timely manner

  • Support both administrative and technical aspects of the system, to perform as audit checks, testing, deploying and reporting on learning content through the LMS

  • Collaborate and interact with internal stakeholders and vendors in a positive and cooperative way


PROGRAM AND PROJECT ADMINISTRATION:



  • Drive scalable and dynamic learning materials and interactions.

  • Effectively manage multiple projects, initiatives, content, and learner pages on the platform.

  • Responsible for the successful and effective roll out and usage of the LMS and other learning-related software throughout NOMAC.

  • Manage e-learning projects from initiation to closure

  •  Launch, manage, improve and optimize the LMS as NOMAC’s e-learning solution enterprise-wide

  • Explore, evaluate, and recommend new approaches, and alternative technologies to make learning more effective in collaboration with the Talent team
