Carry out a variety of routine and preventive maintenance duties on high and low voltage electrical equipment and power system which includes the checking, servicing and repair of such items of equipment such as generators, transformers, alarm systems, batteries, general lighting, switch boards and power distribution boards.
• Receives job instructions from Electrical supervisor or Senior Electrical Technician and performs the activities as instructed.
• Qualified and experienced to work as a competent person on low voltage electrical equipment.
• Carry out electrical maintenance work on equipment such as Alternators, switch boards, transformers, battery chargers, emergency diesel generators, distribution boards, MCC’s, water distillation plants, motors and air-conditioning units etc.
• Diagnoses and rectifies electrical faults on electrical equipment on site or on workshop, as applicable. Includes generating equipment, various types of motors, electrical control systems and communication systems.
• Checks and maintains electric and diesel welding sets. Carry out routine inspection and servicing of refrigerated food containers, laundry and kitchen equipment. Checks batteries and recharge as necessary.
• Performs other related duties as required as trains UAE national developers, Observing safety regulations. Participates in group safety meetings.
• Ensure compliance with ADMA-OPCO HSE regulations, procedures and standards.
• Contributes actively and systematically in achieving business objective & KPI. Contributes in achieving HSE targets and environmental requirements.
• Works in line with HSE policy, and ensure awareness and compliance of HSE rules and regulations by subordinates.
