The WSC shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
HSE
Ensuring all work activity is in compliance with the Lifesaving Rules
Ensuring all incident/accidents are reported as required
Ensuring full awareness of operational hazards and familiarization with emergency responses
Ensuring active participation of contractors/clients in all HSE initiatives (TBT's/RA's/Safety Meetings/SOC's/ STOFS etc) to promote a positive safety culture.
Ensuring PPE is worn at ALL times and as required for the task being conducted
Ensuring full compliance with the PTW system AT ALL TIMES
Job
To ensure contractual compliance with client and/or sub-contractors on board
To coordinate/liaise activities of client and sub-contractors to ensure that all the necessary resources (services, materials, equipment and personnel) are provided and are available on the SESV as specified by contracts and in accordance with the progress of operations
Responsible for reporting on well service sub-contractor performance as well as HSE reporting schemes on board
To review and comment on client well service work plans and advising Operations Department where these may adversely affect the SESV operations or safety
To supervise the day-to-day operations liaising with the client's representative, providing him with technical advice, ensuring that requirements derived from the rig operations are timely and effectively satisfied
To check on operational difficulties in order to understand root causes of the problem(s); provide advice and remedial plans on the most effective solutions or corrective actions
To perform other duties as and when required by the senior engineering officers.
