Senior Stormwater Design Engineer
Al Ain, UAE
My client is seeking to recruit a Senior Stormwater Design Engineer for a role based in Al Ain focusing on road development.
Responsibilities include:
• Review developer applications and project plans for compliance with critical areas, grading and stormwater regulations including LID design and implementation, applicable standards, policies, codes and regulations compliance.
• Review, approve, process, and manage projects for permit approval.
• Schedule and lead the Civil Coordinated Review process from start to finish.
• Participate in public hearings and meetings.
• Attend pre-construction conferences and represent the division in internal design and construction meetings.
• Respond to internal and external customer questions regarding Stormwater, Critical Areas and LID issues.
• Ensuring all project requirements achieved; including scope of works, quality targets, safety standards, budgets and deadlines.
• Established rapport and network with trades.
• Provide expert knowledge and professional service to build strong relationships based on mutual respect.
• Coordinated resources to achieve goals;
• Determine sequence of tasks and resources needed to achieve.
• Prioritize key action steps.
• Evaluate progress against schedule and adjusted plans.
• Conduct Site inspections; Liaised with clients and contractors, coordinated architectural and structural drawings, resolved fixing details and monitored work progress.
• Prepare design calculations and drawings for storm water drainage;
