Our client, a fast growing beauty and cosmetic provider, is currently looking for a
<b>Senior Accountant</b> who will be based in Dubai. You will be responsible in handling the accounts of 7 branches across Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The role will report to the General Manager and will be responsible in managing one junior accountant.

<br />In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
<br />
<br />• Manage accounting assistant
<br />• Assist Branch Managers understand their operational financial and sales report
<br />• Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
<br />• Provide input into department's goal setting process
<br />• Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
<br />• Assist with tax audits and tax returns
<br />• Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
<br />• Plan, assign and review staff's work
<br />• Support month-end and year-end close process
<br />• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

<br />Requirements
<b>To be considered for this role,</b> you need to meet the following criteria:
<br />
<br />- A degree holder in accounting / finance
<br />- Preferably with accounting certification - ie CCA / CFA / CMA
<br />- With knowledge on UAE VAT calculation and filing.
<br />- Fluent in English; knowledge in another language is a plus
<br />- Must have valid driving license
<br />- Willing to travel to visit different branches of the company across Dubai and Abu Dhabi
