Urgent Requirement for an Operations Manager in Oil & Gas Industry.
Location - Abu Dhabi
Offshore - Rotation Period 2 months working / 1 month off
Salary - AED 10,000 Gross
The Manager's responsibilities include the functional areas of Safety, Engineering/Operations, Maintenance, Rig construction and project management, Human Resources and interface with Finance as required. Constantly interface with the Managing Director, Asset Supply Chain Manager, Asset coordinator, and QHSE Manager to ensure implementation of Companies policies.
• Direct and manage the activities of Drilling and Workover operations carried out by the company and contractors personnel of multi-discipline teams to ensure that KPI's are achieved.
• Set guidelines for operations performance to improve standards and efficiency.
• Propose guidelines for setting the Operations budget, plans and objectives.
• Keep abreast of technological changes & ensures that the latest applicable drilling technology advances are evaluated and adopted appropriately in Operations.
• Select new rigs for the Company rig fleet and ensure a safe start-up.
• Highly experienced in establishing, developing, implementing, maintaining and improving quality management systems that meet API Q1/Q2 and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Successfully manage special Drilling projects, API monogrammed Rig products: Mast, substructure, crown block assemblies, wire line anchors and BOP control systems;
• Managed multiple, international, rig operations and rig construction projects.
• Prepared different design packages for different products according to ERCB and API standards;
• Conducted Internal, supplier and product audits;
• Excellent project management and leadership skills;
• The Operations Manager is responsible for the safe, efficient and cost effective performance of his duties;
