The BA will make sure that decision makers within the group operate in a working environment with automated and optimised business processes, by using best-of-breed software applications designed in an efficient and user-friendly manner, and having access to consistent, accurate and transparent information in a timely manner.

Description

  • Work with business units to understand and document business processes and business requirements and initiate process improvements.
  • Coach the business on how to decide and prioritise which efforts to pursue depending on the strategic priorities and the resource availability.
  • Take a leading role in translating business processes and business requirements into optimal IT solutions, by utilising data modelling and other solution design skills.
  • Support decision-making on all levels of management by helping business users to get access to accurate and trustworthy data and reports in a timely manner.



  • Profile
  • MUST HAVE University degree in computer science, engineering, business management or a related field.
  • MUST HAVE experience working in an BA role within the shipping industry.
  • Strong documenting skills.
  • Experience in process mapping by using one of the proven methodologies.
  • Experience in data modelling (E-R and transactional models).
  • Knowledgeable in user interface design and prototyping (UI/UX).
  • Experience in working in an agile development environment (Kanban, Scrum).
  • Knowledgeable in one of PM methodologies (PMP, Prince2, etc.).
