Supply Chain Inventory Planner
The client is a well known FMCG company based in Dubai with operations in the Gulf region as well as in SAARC countries.
This role is responsible for both demand management and inventory planning. The planner ensures an adequate supply of product to service customer needs while minimizing working inventory investment by assessing demand activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for end-to-end planning of inventory from purchase requisition to order allocation,
- Develop demand and inventory management plans to support projects and promotions.
- S&OP Lead - Lead meetings with sales teams to validate forecasts which will include items on allocation, LOI's, special packs, NPD's.
- Conduct financial risk assessments on the above and root cause analysis when necessary.
- Support internal customer service inquiries.
- Identify current and potential product shortages, develop and execute recovery, advise interested parties of status and recovery plans.
- Maintain and update master files \[items, vendors, etc.\].
- Achieve consensus on operating plans and inventory goals.
