Job Related Overview
As a chef you will look after the success in 3 broad areas:
• Volante Club Restaurant
• Internal catering and special events
• Delivery meal plan production
General Responsibilities
• Overall responsibility for the kitchen’s daily operations
• Communicate and inform waiters and floor staff of the foods and menus on offer
• Meet and greet clients at the restaurant and events
• Liaising with the relevant companies for food orders
• Creating new dishes and menus for the restaurant, internal catering events and meal plans
• Interviewing and hiring new staff
• Monitoring and controlling stock levels
• Ensuring correct stock rotation procedures are followed
• Implementation of Dubai’s health and safety procedures for kitchen operations
• Maintaining a score of 90% or above for the internal third party health inspections
• Estimating costs and ensuring all purchases come within budget
• Taking care of the kitchen’s accounts and invoices of arrived produce
• Creating a work roster
• Manage your Petty Cash allowance for cash payments
