Quest Search & Selection is working with a well-established fashion (ladieswear) retail company and they are looking for an extraordinary Buyer / Senior Buyer to join their team based in Dubai, UAE. Job Description
As the Buyer (Ladieswear), you must perform the following duties:
- develop strategic buying plans
- develop a budget with align to the department business plan
- research product
- range development (research, keep abreast of the latest trends, design and sample development acitivities, PLM, Mock Shop)
- launch (season lanuches on time)
- help meet the profit targets by ensuring timely procurement,
- track the merchandise transportation from supplier to a distribution centre
- sales and others (looking after pricing, PNL, sales and margin, FC, F.O.B.)
- research and product knowledge (this one is required for a Senior Buyer position only)
Requirements for an Ideal Candidate:- Minimum of 3-4 years of Buying experience for womenswear/ladieswear.
- Preferably in the Fashion Retail industry;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong organizational and analytical skills;
- Passionate, commercial and driven individual
