- Develop new business contacts from nominated prospects and the prospect universe
- Identify and evaluate opportunities, assess competitor activity and interest and, make the decision to proceed with the contact strategy
- Extend existing products into new market areas by approaching new clients, presenting proposals and closing the sale
- Plan sales strategy, qualify business issues and create consultative dialogue, i.e. by incorpo-rating the consultancy team
- Continually improve customer service, understanding client requirements and ensuring ex-perience is appropriately represented to the client
- Take a solution and consultative based sales approach to ensure that the clients’ needs are ac-curately met
- Create and implement a structured plan to achieve set targets
- Undertake cold calling, ensuring that the number of calls meets call targets as set by manage-ment
- Schedule and attend client meetings, ensuring that number of meetings complies with targets set by management
- Actively and successfully manage the sales process: lead generation; credentials pitch; asking questions; solution pitch; negotiation; close; handover to the account management team
- Involved in preparing proposals, detailed costings and contract documents prior to negotiation with clients
- Manage and maintain a pipeline and ensure all sales administration is kept current at all times
- Report on sales, activity and performance as required by business head
- Ensure activities comply with legal and ethical standards as well as policies
- Ideally a degree educated and highly technical candidate
- Actively monitor and maintain market awareness on latest trends and emerging technology in the field
- 6 to 11 years of experience in Sales and Business Development within the interiors industry
- 5 years of experience in the United Arab Emirates market
- Should be experienced in Interior Designing Sales with knowledge of designing, engineer-ing, dimensions, materials, color, etc.
- Demonstrated experience in sales, marketing, relationship-building, and business devel-opment activities
- Knowledge & Experience in Large Corporate / Large Commercial Fit-Out Projects
