- Oversee and supervise daily warehouse operations including coordination of work between internal and external departments, proper inventory control, proper releasing of materials and ensuring a timely submission of documents to concerned departments.
- Ensure that all inventory transactions are correctly updated with full details as per the department policy.
- Ensure that the WMS is fully implemented by WH staff for all WH aspects.
- Ensure that all policies in place governing system entries, processes, internal/external documentation and records are tactically adhered to.
- Make recommendations and assist in developing warehouse policies and administrative procedures; identify areas of improvement, propose innovation, and keep abreast of changes in warehousing trends and technologies.
- Ensure compliance with all the legal and regulatory rules and policies related to the warehousing activities
- Provide training and coaching to staff as and when needed based on performance evaluation, and support in conflict resolution.
- Make sure that tasks and responsibilities are distributed between staff as needed to ensure completion of tasks.
- Collaborate with the concerned departments on all matters relating to the warehousing activities and provide the highest standards of service and support in resolving
- complaints.
Plan and recommend drivers and labors vacations and time-off requests. - Monitor MHE usage and utilization and recommend maintenance plan and update concerned department on status of equipment.
- Implement, supervise and maintain health and safety programs across all warehouses and applicable to all warehouse manpower.
- Supervise the housekeeping of the warehouse.
- Manage the hold warehouses and ensuring the held materials are marked, segregated and traceable.
- Supervise disposal of rejected/ obsolete packaging materials.
Prepare various reports as required. - Ensure the most efficient flow of material and operation in all warehousing related activities.
- Ensure that the warehouse capacity is always well utilized.
