Description:
• To assist with all operational aspects relating to trading activity
• Responsible for executing member orders both directly through the trading system and via broker markets
• Assist in ensuring the rules and regulations are enforced from a compliance perspective
• Supporting new and existing members and investors by answering queries, providing training, and educating them on our clients’ market model
• Be involved in market administration (e.g. maintaining the trading systems databases and Market Control application in relation to members, securities, trading calendars and timetables, and other market data)
• Updating and maintenance of internal and external operations related documentation and producing internal periodic reports (i.e. monthly trading stats and management reports.)
• Provide back up support to Clearing, CSD and Registry colleagues
• Support clearing and risk functions by carrying out day to day activities to maintain the smooth clearing of products traded
• Support to the department for Market Operations Projects
• Proactively recommend suggestions for Projects
• Undertake feasibility analysis where appropriate
