Course Selection Spring 2019 is open: Post your query here for guidance

Assalam-o-Alaikum!Dear Students, Course selection link for semester Spring 2019 is now open.In order to update your course selection for new semester please do the following steps.1. Login to your LMS2. Click on 'Student Services' Tab3. Click on 'Course Selection' from Academics TabIn order to select your courses please follow these steps.1. Always prefer to select F grade subjects first and once you select them, then select the new remaining courses according to your allowed credit hours limit.2. Always prefer to select maximum courses, especially for BS degree students. Don't try to drop the burden or lower the burden of your subjects by selecting less credit hours than the actual given credit hour limit because doing so will burden you a lot later because it may possible that you have to enroll in extra semester and you won't be able to select your project/thesis as 90 credit hours must be earned for selection of thesis or project in BS degree program so if you are asked to select 18 credit hours then you must have to select 18 credit hours or 6 subject and if you are asked to select 21 credit hours by course selection then make sure to select 21 credit hours or 7 subjects for sure or else it might be really problematic for the students later who drop few subjects just to lower the burden of courses. 3. There is no need to improve D grade subjects. It's totally up to you. You may improve D grade subjects if you want or you may carry on with them as it is not mandatory. You can still get your degree if you have achieved required CGPA and credit hours.4. In MS courses, It is compulsory to pass all required subjects first or else specialization course would not be available for selection so make sure to work hard for core subjects or required subjects so that you can enroll in your specialization area courses.5. If your required credit hours are not earned and your required CGPA is not achieved then you must enroll in extra semester and pick up few of your courses improve your GPA so that you can get your degree.6. If your required credit hours are achieved but you have failed to obtained required GPA for thesis or project then you won't be able to enroll in your project course or thesis course unless you improve your CGPA first which means it would take an extra semester later for your degree to be completed.7. If you have any query regarding course selection, then email to course_selection@vu.edu.pk3. MS(CS) students can email their queries at mscs_courseselection@vu.edu.pkIf you have any query or problem regarding your course selection then feel free to post your question here.Good luck for the upcoming semester.Happy Learning.Thank you and Take Care.Sparkle FairyVUSTUDENTS.NET TEAM!See More
