The Manager, Broadcast Operations will be part of the Media Operations team who are responsible for planning and delivering all media facilities and services required for accredited media attending the Expo, and specifically, the broadcast operations. the Host Broadcaster scope and the overall broadcast plan, ensures delivery to all accredited broadcasters both working on site and taking content for delivery remotely.
Main responsibilities of the role include:
- Support the Head of Broadcast in their day to day planning and delivery of facilities, services and operations to broadcasters;
- Look after the needs of all Arabic-speaking broadcast media pre-Event and on-site to make sure their requirements are met;
- Support to scope and define accurate resources for Broadcast Operations;
- Ensure all Expo 2020 Dubai activities in the lead up to the Event factor in broadcast coverage as a priority;
- Provide input in building a broadcast contact list to invite them to seek accreditation for the Event;
- Provide input into preparation and execution of the Host Broadcaster contract for Expo 2020;
- Ensure service levels and excellence in guest experience are delivered to all attending broadcasters;
- Liaise with international and national broadcast organisations in the lead up to the Event;
- Act as the lead intermediary between Expo and the Host Broadcaster and all other Arabic-speaking broadcasters.
