Quest Search & Selection is working with one of the retail leaders in the region who are looking for a Senior Category Manager (Ecommerce) for womenswear.
Role Responsibilities:
- Leading category performance and portfolio management
- Conceptualizing and finalizing product range and assortment
- Collaborating with buyers on in-season strategy while incorporating review of past category performance
- Setting and achieving margin and sales targets
- Meeting supply chain inventory targets
- Approving promotional sales calendars for categories
- Negotiating with suppliers to ensure maximum profitability
- Researching supply options, market trends, and competitors.
- Overseeing entire product line to ensure that there are no gaps
Required Experience:- Over 5 years of e-commerce buying/merchandising experience
- Keen eye for consumer trends in fashion particularly for GCC consumers
- Ability to effectively build relationships with multiple stakeholders including buyers and pricing & planning managers
- Proven record of successful vendor relations and product assessment
- Ability to foresee market trends and stay ahead of the competition
