Quest Search & Selection is working with one of the retail leaders in the region who are looking for international homeware buyers to relocate to the UAE.
Key qualities:
- Candidates who can bring fresh approaches, ideas and best practice from retailers in the UK, Eastern and Western Europe, APAC, South Africa and South East Asia.
- Candidates must understand their target markets, demographics and specific retail trends.
- Someone who can come in and be immediately impactful through strategy, concepts and ideas and most importantly, through "rolling up the sleeves".
- Must have at least 2 years as a homeware/furniture/home buyer
- Someone who really understands buying and would be able to demonstrate a track record of cycling the product ranges across the categories and brands every six months to keep the offering fresh and competitive.
- Strength in character and emotional intelligence that allows them to deal with the typical frictions within the buying space.
- There should be a passion for the industry and for "good buying" that can really influence a brand.
