Job Purpose: Support FPI sales network with UAE-based Government Owned Firms (GOF) like ADNOC, ENOC, ADWEA, Municipalities in Al Ain, Fujairah, etc.
Develop and provide sales support for a network in the UAE of distributors and agents to sell FPI products to the Municipal, Industrial & Oil & Gas Markets. Duties include presentations, specification work, and intelligence communication throughout the FPI sales network.
Key Accountabilities:
Support the company’s growth objectives
- Coordinate with and support the SVP in the development and updates of the annual sales plan for the UAE
- Identify attractive growth opportunities for FPI’s existing product lines with focus on incremental sales from new opportunities currently not addressed by the team
- Evaluate the pipe market in the assigned territory and cooperate with government and industry stakeholders to identify business opportunities
- Create and implement innovative strategies that address client requirements, market conditions and new business opportunities
- Achieving client relationship targets and KPI’s as set by SVP of sales & marketing.
- Develop the relationship with GOF to ensure business is grown and retained.
- Alerting the sales & marketing team to opportunities for further sales or marketing activities.
- Help sales team up-sell or cross-sell services and products.
- Escalating areas of concern as raised by GOF.
- Develop the strategy, in coordination with company stakeholders, to identify and target the major Government Owned Firms in the UAE.
- Lead the implementation of the GOF strategy and initiate and develop a pipeline of potential GOF projects and coordinate bidding and technical support activities with the respective teams
- Drive the vendor and product approvals for FPI among the major industry players by building and maintaining close relationships with clients, testing and certification bodies
- Register, monitor and manage GOF website tendering process
- Actively utilize the company’s CRM system by entering prospective customer’s projects and periodically updating progress
Stakeholder Relations
- Responsible for developing strategic business partnerships that create sales, marketing and business development actively for FPI.
- Continually engage and exchange knowledge/views in the industry to maintain an up to date view of the market
- Manage and participate in seminars, events and organized promotional programs which help raise awareness of FPI
Forecasting & Budgeting
- Responsible for establishing an annual forecast by market and distributor
Span of Communication:
Internal: SEVP, sales teams of various UAE regions
External: Government Owned Firms, Industry Stakeholders, Consultants, Engineering Firms, Clients from Various Industry Segments
