Waiter/waitress

· Responsible for setting and clearing tables, taking customers food and beverage orders and serving customers in a timely professional manner.


· Follow all relevant policies, processes and procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner; contribute in cost-efficient usage of resources to reduce wastage and unnecessary expense.


· Adhere to all relevant SOP and Risk management procedures, instructions and controls.



· Answer any questions regarding menu and assist with menu selections; Review daily menu with patients; Take and deliver accurate meal orders to residents and guests; Communicate with the kitchen regarding any menu questions, the length of wait and product availability; Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen; Check with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and beverages; Responsible for clearing, collecting and returning food and beverage items to proper area.
