The Senior Manager - Business Transition will be responsible for ensuring that the Pavilion has the required tools, procedures and agreements to transition to a stand alone entity. In particular the post will ensure HR, Finance and governance is adequately addressed.
Main responsibilities for this role include:
- Ensure the pavilion is able to transition to its post-Expo life as a visitor attration;
- Realise plans for the most appropriate legal future of the pavilion within the District 2020 Master Community;
- Champion the needs of the pavilion (relating to transition) with other areas of Expo such as finance and Human Resources;
- Manage consultants appointed for technical aspects of pavilion transition (for example legal support);
- Develop business plans for the pavilion, both overall and for sub-units of operation such as catering & retail;
- Develop, oversee, update and enforce adherence to a project plan for transition;
- Work closely with D2020 team to ensure an appropriate fit within their structures, and work to align the pavilion with D2020 to utilise their plans, procedures etc.;
- Oversee contractors as appointed;
