Role Description
Senior Manager Business Development (BDM) is one of the most important position within international sales and marketing function. BDM is responsible for developing and executing strategies for the region related to market entry, route-to-market and go-to-market. Key accountabilities are development of new markets, revenue growth ___ overall and in new markets and of new products ___ within the stationery and writing instruments category.
Responsibilities:
As the Head of Regional Business you will be expected to:
- Develop regional business development strategy, market entry strategy and most efficient route-to-market
- Develop new product markets; ensure revenue growth through appropriate go-to-market approach
- Develop and maintain sales and supply chain forecast
- Based on regional market requirement contribute in development of new products
- Define Channel Partner / Distributor relationship / channel / pricing strategy
- Provide sales and marketing support to Channel Partners; manage and motivate Channel Partners throughout the region
- Develop and monitor regional marketing / sales / work plans
- Foster direct relationship with key accounts in regional markets
- Ensure that Channel Partners receive adequate support and service (marketing, sales promotion, sales admin, delivery, quality, technical support)
- Competitive intelligence
