Sales Manager – Base Oil & Bitumen - Ghassan Aboud Group

The role will encompass developing & managing the sales strategy and driving the agenda on ground along with providing strategic thought on Pricing & Purchasing in terms of Bitumen & Base Oil in close liaison with the Head of Lubricants to meet approved volume, sales, margin, expenses and profitability of the business along with the growth plans in line with the Company strategy of business expansion into this new vertical.   The person in charge will handle the below: ·       To lead the development & execution of the Base Oil & Bitumen Sales Strategy and day to day operations on ground ·       To work closely with Head of Lubricants on deciding the appropriate product portfolio & developing the global sources Base Oil & Bitumen Trading. ·       Establish the sales / operations team for the new vertical. ·       To devise sales plan/targets for implementation of the sales plan & achieving the agreed sales target. ·       To start sales of Base Oil & Bitumen in decided markets, achieving sales targets and implement strategies to generate sustainable business in global markets. ·       Identifying the target markets for sales & align with Head of Lubricants  for the travel plan for exploring the potential markets & growing the sales number as intended. ·       To provide the market research data (competitor analysis, trending product lines, trending markets (existing & new) to support the overall business strategy for this division. ·       Recommend, manage & review the pricing strategy for the portfolio with Department Head to ensure the growth of business & profitable operations. ·       To provide reports, analysis, sales progress sheets to the Department Head in analyzing & managing the P&L for this division & develop this into a revenue generating arm for SP & Lubricants ·       Develop the digital/online sales strategy with Automotive Marketing Manager in order to develop new customers & expand specific markets. ·       Participate with Head of Lubricants & Divisional Manager – SP & Lubricants in planning, developing, and monitoring vendor network. Handle key supplier relationships. Maintain the current vendors & develop the new vendors worldwide. ·       Assist with the updating of the BU standards and processes as necessary, to be reviewed periodically. ·       Guiding the implementation & use of existing/new CRM system for this vertical & take lead in training the users. ·       Support GAC BUs’ and future verticals in establishing diversified (Spare Parts, Lubricants, Equipment, Gensets, etc..) business in the targeted markets. ·       Support in creation of the foundation for the long term 3S strategy. Develop the team for Base Oil & Bitumen Sales division to support the growth plans, ensure the selection of best resources, training, performance management in close coordination with BU HRBP.
