Study project scope and assessing project requirement
Preparing mechanical engineering design including but not limited to rotating equipment, piping valves and control valves
Preparing design documentation and drawings such as equipment list,
specifications & data sheets, layout drawings, isometric, supports,
etc.
Producing and implementing designs and test procedures
Collaborating with project team and managing interfaces of other disciplines
Liaising with suppliers, contractors, consultants and clients
Presenting designs to clients and negotiate the incorporation of the changes
Agreeing budgets, timescales and specifications internally and externally
Maintaining and modifying equipment to ensure that it is safe, reliable and efficient
Using computer-aided design/modelling software
Preparing documentation for purchasing
Preparing internal and external progress reporting.
