The purpose of the Manager- 3WP Medical (Worker Wellness Wearables Programme) role is to support the large-scale deployment and rollout of an innovative and technology-focused workers’ health & wellness program across the Expo2020 construction site. This includes health assessments and referrals, creating and maintaining health profiles for the blue collar workforce, providing medical advice and health-based recommendations in terms of improving health and wellness through program design and implementation, as well as health data analysis, research and reporting.
This role will require a medical background and knowledge of and experience with preventative health measures, alongside a strong work ethic with flexibility and creativity in approach to program implementation.
Candidate is expected to be professional and passionate about being involved in delivering a health-based program that maximizes health and wellness outcomes.
The main responsibilities of this role will include:
- Support strategic aims of the program by contributing to ground-breaking medical practices that drives innovation and informs decision-making;
- Be responsible for all health-related projects and outreach initiatives from inception to completion;
- Develop a robust framework for providing medical assistance to workers with high risk factors and ensure satisfaction in terms of health status;
- Stakeholder engagement with a range of internal and external stakeholders including departments and units within Expo that support worker health, safety and wellbeing, as well as external stakeholders such as medical clinics, hospitals, service providers, contractors, and the workers themselves;
- Contribute to research reports that summarize findings and make recommendations in order to support program objectives;
- Act as the point of contact for all internal and external medical requests;
- Provide guidance and support to the rest of the team when it comes to medical issues;
- Support wider worker welfare community programs as directed by the Head of Program.
