Hardlines Licensing Executive - 20too

The Hardlines Licensing Executive is responsible for managing hardlines, including toys and home, licensees for entertainment brands in MENA with the goal of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and growth objectives. This position regularly liaises with licensing partners, product development, retail sales and marketing to grow licensed product sales and build brand properties. This position will report to the Head of Sales.


Responsibilities:


• Category Management:
o Manages a licensee base of hardlines accounts
o Identify new business and revenue opportunities
o Conceive, pitch and negotiate deals
o Define category and property strategy by age segment and retailer
o Build and manage day to day relationship with licensees
o Support organizing, pitching and selecting licensees
o Provide management support in the contract and accounting process

• Product Development:
o Collaborate with Product Development and Creative team to ensure licensing strategies and objectives are being met
o Work with licensees, product development, creative and sales teams on merchandise assortment plans for retailer pitches and exclusive products
o Liaise with Product Development team to ensure timely approval of products as needed
o Ensure licensee product lines reflect our licensor’s brands quality and brand/property objectives

• Retail Sales:
o Liaise with retail business development and marketing teams to define promotional and marketing plans
o Provide all needed product and licensee information to the sales and marketing to support retail road shows and presentations
o Ability to create presentations as needed
o Work with Senior Management, Retail Business Development and licensing team to determine “white space” opportunities for new business and incremental growth.
o Maintain general knowledge of the retail landscape and monitor retails sales performance of key licensees and programs


• Brand Management and Marketing:
o Prioritize and select licensee product for development of marketing plans related to advertising, social media and public relations
o Ensure timely approvals of licensee’s marketing
o Provide any licensee /product information in support of marketing and brand presentations
o Help in defining and integrating licensees within wider Brand and marketing plans


 


• Finance and Business Planning:
o Build and track quarterly category forecast by reviewing and analyzing quarterly sales forecast information obtained from licensees
Develop and present annual plan for areas of accountability, which includes recommending key objectives and priorities. Monitor progress and recommend modifications to Management as needed
