As an established and trusted recruitment partner to this global organisation serving over 60 countries worldwide, we have been asked to assist with the recruitment of a contract Principal Architect.
Job Outline:
• Use domain and applications expertise to recommend initiatives where the company could add value to the Customer business functions, processes and/or applications.
• Present such initiatives through the Line Manager, for obtaining the decision of the customer business unit.
• Provide solution architecture document for system solutions in a comprehensive, meaningful and well-structured manner. This includes ensuring that the proposed business solution will deliver the expected benefits. Support the line manager in obtaining business sign-off for the above from the business users.
• Provide consultancy and guidance to internal IT project teams ensuring that they are aware of domain issues that could potentially impact their project.
• Support in creating test packs for application changes, including enhancements and new releases. Assist in SIT/UAT phases and provide adequate support during product launch.
• Provide all assistance to the Project Managers/project teams on application support, impact analysis, and user acceptance testing, as assigned.
• Solution Architects are an integral part of the Enterprise Architecture team and required to be:
- Proficient in tools & techniques to discover business problems and opportunities. - Well versed with integration methodologies and API design methodologies - Process modelling as part of Business Process re-engineering Initiatives - Is able to develop and validate business cases to make sure that the priorities are driven by business value - Is preferred to have expertise in any one of the following areas: • Customer Journey Management • Customer Engagement • Customer Experience Management • Customer Service Management • E-Commerce
