Assistant Manager - Online Marketplace - Expo2020 Dubai

The role of the Assistant Manager - Online Marketplace will be responsible for driving product development of the Online Marketplace and enhancing customer experience. You’ll manage all aspects of the digital B2B product lifecycle, from discovery to design and delivery, and its day-to-day use and iterations. This is a hybrid role that requires knowledge of product management, UX/UI design, digital marketing, and business analysis.


The main responsibilities of this role will include: 


- Maintain up-to-date product documentation for the OMP covering all current state features and functionality;


- Provide support in building the annual product roadmap and detailing the future state user stories for product releases;


- Support coordination of internal brainstorming and feedback workshops with the Expo procurement team for product releases;


- Coordinate and conduct focus group sessions with buyers and suppliers on a regular basis;


- Manage and track product development release and sprint backlogs on JIRA including all bugs, issues and enhancements;


- Develop user stories and coordinate elaboration with the vendor and review technical specifications and scope documents produced by the vendor off the back of this;


- Implement and manage the user acceptance testing process for release cycles with the support of the team and internal Procurement team stakeholders;


- Develop and maintain supporting materials and collaterals (digital and print) for the OMP including user guides for Expo Procurement team, and for suppliers and buyers.
