About the role
Smart Cities & Health Care are strategic verticals for Orange Business Services in MEA and also for Orange Applications for Business (the Business Unit) for generating pipeline and revenue growth.
For these reasons, we are hiring a solid professional experienced person in the MEA region to plan and develop the business around these 2 verticals. The business development manager will have clear targets around pipeline development, orders, and revenues generated.
The Vertical Business Developer will report to the Head of OAB IMEAR, based in Dubaï and is part of the Business Support & Innovation department.
- Assess the potential of the “vertical markets” for Orange Business Services in the region based on the existing regional marketing information & intelligence. This will also include the analysis of the different market components to define a clear Target Market List (TML) in the GCC with the main focus on KSA and UAE markets.
- Establish initial contacts with the prospects at CxO level to promote Orange Business Services know how in these verticals.
- Develop a strong pipeline for these vertical businesses in the region
- Work closely with Sales and Pre-Sales teams on mature opportunities and support them until the closure of the deal and the completion of the order generation.
- Support OAB BU / central teams to position OAB products and solutions to convert the orders into revenues for this BU.
- Manage the relationship with the central Smart Cities and Health Care line of business and other Orange group entities as appropriate. Define and adopt the right value proposition to address these business sectors in the region.
- Develop a strong regional partner ecosystem (both Technology and Go-To-Market partners) to support the vertical business development
- Be the Subject Matter Expert on Smart services for cities and health care domain.
- Coordinate and monitor the regional business development steering committee to ensure a smooth implementation of the business development plan.
