Showroom Sales Manager - UAE - Architect & Design Center

The Sales Manager’s role refers to the responsibility of a sales branch including the development of the division within the market and managing people related to sales and support functions. The sales manager further ensures profitable growth with a strong focus on achieving the country targets and identifies strategies to improve short- and long-term sales. He/she overlooks all the ongoing and potential projects along with the team’s activities and guides them to get the expected results.


 


Job duties include, but are not limited to:


• Implementing the division’s market approach by guiding the sales and support team towards the planned direction


• Generating sales volume, driven by a strong ambition to achieve the expected results of the branch


• Promoting and developing our brand as a full solution provider and representing our company’s core values


• Managing personnel and developing sales as well as support staff members to improve their skills and expertise


• Coordinating projects and crucial activities including delegating tasks as well as projects to the team


• Making sure that sales and support staff is fulfilling their tasks professionally and in an acceptable time


• Supporting the sales team members for meetings of high-profile clients and guiding them for the right approach


• Motivating the sales and support staff to think further and strive always for more and higher achievements


• Monitoring projects with a project list and keeping track on them professionally by guiding the team towards the right follow up actions within the right time


• Ensuring that sales team is adding the expected number of new projects to the project list on a weekly basis


• Providing monthly sales data including sales staff’s productivity and performance to the General Manager


• Arranging technical- and product trainings for all team members with main suppliers to be always up-to-date


• Conducting weekly team meetings in order to update each team member about ongoing projects and activities


• Development of specific plans/strategies to ensure revenue growth and improve market share


• Identifying projects and getting the opportunity to work on those ones in either an early or final stage


• Cooperating with other group divisions to get project information and use synergies to get us on these projects


• Performing direct sales and marketing activities on major accounts and handling key projects personally


• Meeting the key accounts of the specifying clientele regularly


• Maintaining and developing relationships with important contacts in our business nature (specifier, contractor)


• Negotiating prices and payment terms along with other conditions with main clients within the authorized scope


• Being informed about the latest market trends and product innovations in order to educate the team and our clients


• Handling inter-departmental topics (finance, accounting, logistics, purchasing) and ensuring a smooth cooperation
