Senior Executive – Quality (Part Time Surveyor) - Dubai Healthcare City Authority

 


Introduction:


The Dubai Healthcare City Authority Regulatory (DHCR) is looking for candidates to be hired on a survey/assignment basis. Selected candidates will be trained to become certified surveyors for DHCR Ambulatory Care Accreditation Program. DHCR follows well-defined, internationally recognized system for surveyors’ recruitment and selection that support DHCR mission and values related to impartiality, and transparency, taking into consideration DHCR needs to fulfill surveyors’ skill matrix.


 


 


 


 


Role Purpose:


The role holder is responsible for conducting quality surveys to assess and audit the quality of services provided by healthcare operators in Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC). Also, the role coordinates with external stakeholders to ensure that the surveys are carried as per the required timelines and standards in order to promote and sustain health care quality initiatives within DHCC.


Core Responsibilities:


  • Conducts surveys of health care facilities to determine compliance to Dubai Outpatient Clinic Quality Standards and regulatory policies to assess and audit the quality of health care services within DHCC as per defined guidelines.

  • Communicates and coordinates with healthcare operators and healthcare professionals on the survey process.
    Conducts follow-up visits of previously deficient facilities to ascertain compliance with criteria.

  • Provides regulatory guidance to Healthcare Operators (HCO) to assist them in developing plans to correct deficiencies.

  • Collects and collates data, and participates in analyzing feedback received from healthcare operators and surveyors on the survey process and associated standards.

  • Works closely with the survey manager to assist in related tasks for the successful completion of the survey within defined time scales.

  • Participates in providing guidance to external stakeholders in order to enhance overall quality and safety of health care, and maintain accreditation/certification.

  • Prepares and generates reports to document findings based on assessments of survey outcomes for submission to healthcare operators.

  • Maintains detailed and comprehensive knowledge of all factors affecting industry compliance and keeps abreast with developments in the wider health care services industry.

  • Participates in the post survey feedback.
    Prepares reports as required by the Line Manager, HOD or Director.

  • Takes ownership of his/her own learning agenda by identifying development needs in consultation with the reporting manager and working towards bridging the gaps through various means which go beyond just training.

  • Understands the competencies relevant to his/her role, and works towards displaying as well as developing these effectively.

  • Keeps abreast of relevant professional/industry developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional networks.

Applicants are required to be on their own visa. For employed candidates, a 'No Objection Certificate' will be required.
