FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare accurate Capex estimates by conducting site visits, current market value analysis, historical data review etc. in coordination with Design and Execution team.
• Verify the Capex and assist the Territory Finance team to formulate the capex as per standard requirements of HC with technical guidance.
• Closely work with Concept & Territory Project team to Value Engineer & achieve Cost savings which will enable viability of the project.
• Prepare a detailed BOQ in conjunction with the Preliminary designs and detailed drawings with due consideration to site conditions.
• Manage the tender process by reviewing the BOQ and making necessary amendments to receive the best value Tender in compliance with Project requirements
• Manage Tender analysis, final negotiations with all Bidders and prepare Final quotes Vs Budget analysis with Contractor recommendation for Client to facilitate issuance of LOI & LPO process to ensure compliance with approval milestone dates of master program.
• Manage contract agreement execution in coordination with Project team and Legal department and provide contractual support to Project Team in terms of Payments terms, timelines, contract clauses for various requirements etc
• To manage cost control of ongoing projects against approved budget, preparing forecasted budgets and cost reports to update stakeholders as a weekly basis
• Oversee and check variations reports prepared by QS team and further negotiations to control cost in coordination with Project team in adherence to change control process
• Oversee and check Consultants / other direct suppliers' payments in line with contractual terms and conditions
• Oversee and check the preparation of payment certificates to mitigate associated risks
• Manage and oversee the site visits to validate variation & payment claims and oversee the process of change management in coordination with SPM
• Review, Negotiate & Agree Final accounts and manage the Commercial close out process in line with the contract
• Keep a track of DLP (Defect liability period) and ensure a final survey on the site for a smooth closeout.
