Operation Manager (Vehicle Testing Center) - BIN YABER DRIVING INSTITUTE

Responsible for the day to day Vehicle Testing Operation of the Testing Center, which includes policies & procedures. Overall responsibility of the effectiveness of all the departments of the center. Also accountable for ensuring that cash collection is tallied with the statement of collection by all the Customer Service Staff at the end of their shifts.


 


Duties & Responsibilities:


To manage day to day operations of our Vehicle Testing Center and to ensure fast & efficient Vehicle Inspection process to customers with high standard of customer satisfaction.


Ensure all Safety inspections carried out are in accordance with RTA & other Government Agencies parameter


Ensure outstanding service provided to the customers by advising appropriate resolution to their concerns/complaints


Supervise the work of Testing Inspectors to ensure that processes are followed so that the work flow, quality standards are maintained in line with set process by RTA and the concerned government authorities.


Maintain good business relation with business partners (RTA and Government representatives) to ensure effective service is delivered to customers.


Responsible for managing duty schedule of Operational staff and ensure effective utilization at all times


Provide advice and technical assistance to subordinates.


If required arrange for delivery of vehicles to customers.


Keep all the staff up to date with procedural and technical developments relating to the job.


Handles VIP Customers


Assist in recruitment and creating development in operational programs


Communicate new or amended processes by RTA colleagues in a timely manner, ensuring they have been understood.


Responsible for training the staff and ensure that they are up to date with RTA & company rules and regulations issued by the authorities from time to time.


Ensure Health, Safety & Environment related policies and procedures are followed.


Responsible for evaluating performance of the Technical staff and provide training, coaching from time to time.


Ensure that company's HSE policies are followed, all tools, equipment’s are kept in good order, and housekeeping standards are maintained so as to preserve a good safe and healthy working environment.


Evaluate and monitor performance of the subordinate against set standard, identify necessary training


Submit overall monthly performance report to CEO


Carry any other related task / activities assigned by CEO.
