Civil Solar Field Supervisor - Abengoa


Abengoa, centers its activity on engineering, construction and maintenance of electricity generation plants, hydraulic and environmental infrastructures, as well as electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation infrastructures for the energy, industry, transportation and service sectors.


Abeinsa is seeking a Mechanical Solar Field Supervisor for its Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) area, to be incorporated in one of their projects located in United Arabic Emirates.


The main responsibilities are:
Control of available resources: To supervise and verify resources assigned to each designated activity, planning ahead of time to ensure that subcontractors have the adequate resources, in terms of quality and amount thereof, to perform the work.
Construction work control: To control the performance of the construction work, following the established plan and the criteria provided by the Activity Leader. To require subcontractors to meet the obligations on this matter and register non-conformities and non-compliances.
Quantity and progress control: To control the quantities measured and monitor the modifications conducted in each designated work section.
Ensure the preventive management of labor, environmental and quality risks: To conduct an adequate monitoring and ensure strict compliance with the occupational health and safety regulations. To detect and suggest measures to correct or prevent risky behaviors of procedures.
Know the discipline rules: To have adequate knowledge of the designated discipline rules, capability to understand project drawings or documentation, competence to analyze constructions and compare with documentation finding remarkable errors.
