The Organization:
Our client is a Dubai based startup company, franchise of an established European organization. They are active in the retail industry, providing B2C and B2B services. They have just launched their first store in January 2019, which is followed by expansion both inside UAE and other countries in the Middle East.
Duties & Responsibilities:
For their new shop location in Downtown Dubai, they are hiring an Assistant Shop Manager to support the management of the store ensuring superior customer satisfaction, customer loyalty and sales growth, while adopting the processes and methods of the organization and representing the values of the company. This position supports the Shop Manager in the following:
Commercial
Increase the turnover of the store considering benchmarks and objectives set by the company;
Ensure the profitability of the store by ensure adequate staff productivity, production costs and sales volumes;
Represent the company in the mall (eg. Shop managers meeting);
Advise clients on treatments, services, offers, promotions and other benefits;
Ensure that services have appropriate quality and meet deadlines;
Coordinate with Customer Service replies to customer tickets;
Organize PR events at the store complying with the marketing policy and initiatives;
Report to management on the results of commercial initiatives;
Monitor competition and report to management on relevant aspects (eg. Services, prices, etc);
Management
Manage the staff working at the store;
Participate in the recruitment of store staff and organize work time (shifts, vacations etc);
Determinate training needs of staff, schedule trainings and follow-up on these trainings;
Evaluate staff performance in accordance with organization methodologies;
Administrative
Capture customer data;
Ensure the end of year inventory of assets;
Control and management of stocks (consumables, paper etc);
Check and manage cash registers and transactions recording;
Purchase consumables and others as per budget;
Production
Welcome customers, collect their clothes and handle their requests;
Respect the just-in-time: pre-treatment, stain, machines control, ironing, grouping, packaging, filing of bars or conveyor and delivery to customers;
Take measurements for alteration service;
Ensure preventive maintenance in accordance with standard operational procedures;
Oversee and lead all budgeting, business planning and operating plan initiatives;
