The Interior designer is responsible for a variety of space designing projects within WORKSPACE business unit. The role is to deal with design from conceptual development to managing and executing the design. The Interior designer is aiming to maximize the company’s gross by meeting the functional and aesthetic goals of the customer.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
Designing interior spaces, including furniture, fixtures, floor coverings, and demountable partitions
Assessing and meeting client’s requirements through regular meetings and conferences
Producing sketches, 2D & 3D drawings, and floor plans to illustrate concepts using computer-aided design programs (AUTOCAD, RHINO 3D, FINAL RENDER, REVIT, etc.).
Presenting well documented designs for tender bids to client in adherence to their technical specification, drawings and design expectations.
Creating mood-boards to communicate design concepts to clients
Enhancing and improving interior spaces' functionality by modifying architectural elements and arranging furnishings, artwork, and décor
Managing and overseeing subordinate Estimators and Space Planners in the day-to-day performance of their jobs to ensure that project/business unit milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets
Co-ordinating between Consultants, Projects Manager, Contractors, Sales and Customers
Advising for technical queries as per specifications and design concepts
Maintaining relationships with vendors and outside contractors
Performing research and maintaining a working knowledge of trends and new developments in the interior design and architecture worlds
Adhering to national and local building and safety codes with every design element
