Sales Manager - Versatile Consultancy

We are urgently hiring a 'Sales Manager' for a well-known Telecom Company in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.


Designation: Sales Manager


  • Reports to: Chief Sales Officer

  • Department: Sales

Package: AED 30K + Medical + Airfare + Commission (upto 40K USD per year)


Note:


  • The candidate with 3 years+ experience in the same field must have managed a sales team for a minimum of 3+ years with a demonstrable track record.

  • Must have a good understanding of B2B sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities:


A) Team Management


  • Provide guidance & help team with decision making

  • Provide monthly sales forecasting and other operational reports

  • Conduct regular performance and development reviews with direct reports

  • Support the team with prospecting and closing of deals

  • Proactively highlight areas where additional on the job training / workshop is required for team members

  • Provide coaching and on the job training to the team

  • Responsible for on boarding new recruits in the department

B) Sales/Targets:


  • Solution selling experience (combination of products and services)

  • Account planning

  • Territory planning

  • Retention of existing revenues

  • Further development of the product mix within the assigned accounts

  • Explore new business streams within assigned accounts

  • Achieve set sales margins on bookings as agreed with Line Manager

C) Account Management & Business planning:


  • Understanding customer requirements

  • Developing sales solutions

  • Making presentations and winning proposals

  • Building customer relationships

  • Developing new business

  • Working in cross-functional teams to implement projects.

  • Building long term sales strategies for customer retention

  • Manage existing accounts by: Phone calls and email communication

  • Face to face meetings with prior approved meeting plan with line manager

  • Understanding the needs, requirements and specifications of products and services required by the customer

  • Understanding market trends and customer’s eco-system

  • Building an account plan around customer requirements

  • Building a road map for future business development with the support of Head of Department

  • Liaising with procurement department and preparing quotations in line with account plans

  • Ensuring healthy margins are maintained as per approved guidelines for each product

  • Presenting solutions to customers and handle basic objections

  • Liaising with sales support / customer care on day to day operational activities of the accounts

  • Understanding your competition

D) Reporting and forecasting:


  • Provide timely and accurate 30/60/90 forecasts with all opportunities captured, qualified and probabilities updates as per the current status weekly

  • Pro-actively report on opportunities or threats that require escalation or support from other business units

  • Account plans and activity reports must be updated on an ongoing basis and reviewed with the Head of Sales at least once every 2 weeks

  • Complete meeting planner prior to travel

  • Complete visit reports within 2 working days after travel and ensure all action points are followed up and updated in the activity report
