Restaurant Manager - Meshico

The Restaurant Manager, more than anyone, represents the Company, its standards and its values in every task performed. This makes your role of a high responsibility.


You are fully responsible for the operation and development of the Restaurant, which is not only shown by an excellent product knowledge, but on the continuous development of the Restaurant’s offering and its team members.



Main Responsibilities:



Organizing and Managing
● Maintain a positive and full of energy attitude at all times.
● Encourage respect and trust with the decisions taken by the Management.
● Set regular training to keep the staff up to the brand standards.
● Ensure all restaurant procedures are in line with the Brand and the Hotel.
● Ensure that the company policies, safety and local regulations are respected to the letter.
● Optimise all products and equipment to reduce costs.
● Analyse regularly all procedures to ensure they are the most efficient possible.
● Control the quality of the food and beverage served, ensuring it is up to the high company and concept standards.
● Maintain an efficient communication with the Chef in all channels possible and as often as necessary, ensuring they are both aware of customer feedbacks and anything of interest.
● Fulfill all duties and instructions given by GM/ Chef


Guest Experience
● Respond and handle customer complaints ensuring guests perceive the outcome as satisfactory.
● Build and maintain a good relationship with our guests, to improve their experience and contribute to repeat business.
● Contribute to generate an ideal atmosphere of Entertainment for the Guests and work for the employees.
● Strive for an excellent Guest Experience constantly, presenting monthly plans to improve it constantly.
● Obtain and analyse regularly feedback from guests and staff to ensure an excellent Guest Experience.
● Be constantly updated with the changes in the market, in order to better understand the demand and provide a competitive offer.


Entertainment
● As part of the concept, ensure the service keeps the Entertaining element not only through special shows, but with the approach from the very reception until Guest’s departure.


Branding and Promotion
● Maintain always a creative and immaculate image as part of our Brand standards.
● Promote the Restaurant through our social media platforms and word of mouth.
● Attend social events and exhibitions of interest to promote the venue.
● Meet and have an efficient regular communication with all booking sources in the market (sites, concierges, PR’s and others) to ensure they are regularly aware of our offering.
