You would develop, create, and support software applications for BIM that successfully meet the evolving business needs of the global Atkins firm. The ideal candidate will have a knack for designing and customizing software for multiple business units with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. You will analyse and design applications for BIM products within a specific area, working individually and coordinate development as part of a team. Additionally, you will possess excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving skills, and a demonstrated ability to implement enterprise and open-source solutions in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities
- Develop reusable code
- Collaborate with developers, designers, systems administrators, and customers
- Develop prototype and quality mock-ups for review
- Implement new technologies in development for future deployment
- Applying improvements to existing applications and integrations
- Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfers and mentorship to peers
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify performance tuning opportunities
- Develop and manage internal relationships with digital leadership teams, business managers, and business units as well as external relationships with IT vendors and industry peers to deliver best-in-class applications and solutions for BIM purposes
- Demonstrated ability to assess, adopt, and operationalize new Digital technologies
- Contribute to the entire application lifecycle
- Elaborate mobile-based and web-based features
- Troubleshoot and fix application bugs
- Detect and fulfil front-end and back-end requirements
