They drafted a new mission statement for the company that focused on developing a team based and high performance culture. Teams trained, worked and developed plans together and adopted the technique of 360-degree feedback. Mr. James also decided to change one more policy related to employee compensation plan. James felt that in a team-based environment, outstanding performance should be the criterion for pay raises instead of the same annual pay rise. After consulting with the CEO of the company, James sent a notification to all employees declaring the change to team-based pay-for-performance.
