DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage supplier relationships related to technical product requirements of the ISE group.
· Leverage the group spend/demand to deliver vendor cost savings in line with set objects.
· Rationalise the vendor portfolio to ensure critical supply products are proactively managed for example Just-In-Time
delivery, live supplier stock holding, and dynamic supplier capacity management.
· Work closely with the continuous improvement and Process Engineering teams to ensure the supply base is
delivering goods and services in-line with the continuously evolving lean initiatives happening at the NOV ISE operations
bases.
· Identify through investigation and communication significant improvement opportunities relating to the technical
requirements of ISE versus supplier capability. Suggest ways in which to release these opportunities and delivering
against them.
· Proactively challenge and support the vendors to identify and deliver improvements.
· Work with the regional Quality functions to ensure supplier quality requirements are adhered to.
· Proactively participate in regular supplier reviews including supplier visits, quarterly business review meetings and
the use of supplier quality audits.
· Identify risks in the current equipment supply chain, and put in place solutions to eliminate or mitigate these risks.
· Technically support engineering on product changes and new product introductions that impact the manufacturing
and supply chain processes.
· Liaise with local procurements teams on supplier management and continuous evolvement of KPI’s (performance,
quality, delivery, cost and communications) along with providing technical guidance where required.
· Collate and analyse data to aid strategy formulation and decision-making.
· Assist in the setting and monitor of supplier KPI's. When necessary put in place corrective action plans ensuring
performance improves.
· Assist key suppliers to improve with technical product offerings in line with the business requirements
· Prepare consolidated managerial reports as needed to facilitate and recommend actions to ensure optimal supply
chain execution.
· Ensure all company policies, procedures and the employee handbook are followed by department heads.
· Travel when required both domestically and internationally in order to support the goals of the business or
