Senior Sales Manager OCTG - Progressive Global Energy

Senior Sales & Marketing Manager to work out of their regional UAE based office but will be focusing on sales activity in the West Africa region.

This role will be working within the Metals Business unit with a specific focus on OCTG product line.



Summary Profile:

• Marketing & Sales of Steel products and related goods with proactive and action-oriented manner.
• To research market demand of steel industry in the West African market.
• Generate new trading business and to support investment projects in line with the Metals division's direction. (Specifically within Oil Country Tubular Goods)

  Key responsibilities:
  
• Marketing and sales of steel products and related goods, researching markets and negotiating with existing and potential customers.
• Building a good relationship with existing and new customers / suppliers and negotiating with then in good manner to expand the business.
• Carrying out risk management of relevant business with necessary arrangements under internal regulations and mitigate our risk in the business.

  Background of the candidates:
  
• Technical professional who has 8+ years working within the Metal / Oil & Gas industry who has a sound technical knowledge of OCTG products.
• A further 8+ years in a Sales and Marketing position, ideally focusing on sales specifically related to OCTG or other Metals product lines
• Sales professionals who has a track record of working the Africa market, ideally West Africa but not essential
• Track record of winning new business and sales. Targets for this role will be in the region of 1 Million USD profit per year.

  Working week: Sunday - Thursday, 08:45 - 17:45
