A leading professional services business is looking for a Test Lead to join on a permanent contract to support a number of key Testing related initiatives starting in 2019. The role would suit an experienced (QA) Test Lead (Hands on) and someone who is experienced in operating as the sole testing resource in a greenfield environment who can demonstrate the value of Testing (Quality Assurance) to the business and set up structures and processes for the future. You will need in-depth Agile experience, coupled with experience of building Automation capability for the longer term.
Responsibilities And Experience Needed
• Experienced Test Lead, who has significant professional services experience
• In-depth Agile experience - You will need to support others through the current Agile Automated Transformation
• Experience as operating as the sole test resource, building capability in a greenfield environment and driving results and value
• Excellent communication & collaboration skills - You will need to be able to work with Dev teams to demonstrate the value of Testing to Software Development teams and senior management
• Be a hands-on tester - Initially manual testing
• Experience in building POC for automation testing, through tool selection and building the frameworks, documentation and handover. You will need to be able to demonstrate your previous experience and success in this area.
• Tech stack is SQL Server, .Net/C#
