Job Summary/Main Purpose
The New Product Launch manager is accountable to the development and launching of New Products to increase the sales revenue of the Company. He will ensures that all new products initiatives are well driven by the market need and based on the consumers’ insights. He will work with the Sales & Marketing Team and other cross functional departments to delivery profitable sales to achieve the target goal of the organization.
Main Responsibilities:
• Establishes and manages process for generating, evaluating and filtering ideas for the development and launching of new products.
• Prepares and presents business case for ventures.
• Responsible for the identification of possible opportunities and improvement of new products, using data and insight to establish the consumer’s problem or unmet need.
• Manages the development and delivery of new products to assure the participation and buy-in from stakeholders.
• Utilizes the knowledge of subject matter experts, managing and making best use of project resources and suppliers.
• Ensures that all new products are clearly differentiated, quality assured, and aligned with the brand and strategic priorities.
• Reviews, evaluate, and enhance the current new products submission.
• Ensures that all new products are aligned with the customers’ needs and will deliver an excellent experience.
• Responsible for the development of systems and processes for measuring new products and its usage, and makes recommendations to enhance it.
• Identifies and evaluates the new products of competitors, and identifies gaps or threats, or opportunities to further enhance the company’s products.
• Develops new products’ information to articulate and differentiated proposition, within the context of the wider membership proposition
• Ensures that all product communications are communicated effectively internally and externally.
• Creates New Product Portfolios, working with each specific Portfolio Brand Product Manager.
• Responsible for the development of new product management processes, and management of relationship with products and suppliers.
• Ensures that all new products initiatives are well validated to ensure the right product is built.
