Progressive Global Energy is leading international Recruitment Company providing both temporary and permanent recruitment solutions to clients within the Energy Sector.
From our Dubai office, we are currently looking for field service specialists-variable speed drives to perform commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of variable speed drives in UAE and Saudi Arabia. This will be a 1 year extendable contract working with an international EPC client.
Products : GEPC drives : ( MV7000, SD7000 , MV3000 ) & SFC/SEE D3 & D4 . Or with experience with other manufacturers' variable speed drives : Siemens ( perfect harmony) . ABB( LCI mega drives ,ACS6000,ACS5000)
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university (or Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university with a minimum 2 additional years of related industry experience)
- Minimum 5 years of field service and/or commissioning experience
Desired Characteristics:- Ability and willingness to travel overseas on short notice and for extended periods of time
- Field Service and Commissioning experience with drives and/or power and/or automation systems.
- Ability to execute increasingly complicated assignments, which require considerable engineering skill and creative ability and independent judgement.
- Possess detailed knowledge, competence and expertise with installation and commissioning tasks and services
- Strong computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilise MS Office applications
- Ability to learn and follow defined departmental policies, procedures and practices
